the PlaceDead on the Creek ’24 will be held at the Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. This place offers an intimate festival site in a rural setting of oak woodlands, meadows and creeks.
The Ranch has a history of hosting festivals and events. In the early 90’s, Electric off the Eel took place there after “on the Eel” ended. This evolved into the Hog Farm Pignic that endured until 2001. That was the same year the Kate Wolf Festival moved to the Ranch from its original location in Sebastopol. From its one stage there, it became a world class festival with four ongoing stages. Over 1000 artists/bands played on those stages, before the final show in 2022. There are many memories stored in that landscape. We are honored to continue their legacy at the Ten Mile facility ~ Black Oak Ranch. |
